For a game prototype class, we were assigned to make a game that involved bubbles. It could be about anything, as long as bubbles were an important component. We were put into pairs to make this little game, in which I did all the art for.

These were the assets that I made for the game, which were all made in Aseprite.
The bubble is the character that players would control. You would control the bubble through a maze, with the goal being to get to the end without getting popped. As you would progress however, you would continually get smaller and would have to avoid obstacles.
The bubble wand would act a checkpoint. When the bubble passes through here, it would return to full size. The second sprite is used to overlay on top of the actual wand, so it looks like the bubble is floating through the hole.
The spikes acted as an obstacle players would have to avoid. Running into the spikes would make the bubble pop.
Lastly, the fan was meant to be an object in the game which would blow the bubble into the direction it was facing. This could be helpful or harmful, depending on what was across from it.

This is a simple background I made for the game that is supposed to match the feeling of bubbles, with the repeated circular pattern and cool coloration.

This is the full prototype put together. It is meant to be a simple demonstration of what a game like this could be like.
